With deep roots in the community and more than three decades of diverse professional experience, Michelle A. Mapp, MEM, MPA, JD is dedicated to providing consulting and legal services that Mold, Amplify, Protect, and Promote (MAPP) the assets in communities, while advocating for public policies that align with and benefit the community.
Having grown up in the South, Michelle has seen firsthand the systemic barriers that often prevent families and underrepresented groups from securing their assets—whether it be land, businesses, or financial legacies. From witnessing land loss due to lack of proper estate planning to watching nonprofits and small businesses struggle without sound legal and operational guidance, Michelle’s work is deeply rooted in personal experience and a commitment to help preserve community wealth.
Michelle’s depth of experience working to address the historical and economic challenges facing marginalized communities positions her as not just a legal service provider, but a fierce advocate for equitable access to justice.
