Jamie Cooper

Jamie J. Cooper is the President and CEO of Communities In Schools of South Carolina. With a background in the U.S. Army and degrees from John Wesley University and Liberty University, as well as certificates from Duke University and Harvard Business School, Jamie is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in nonprofit leadership. He has served in various executive roles, including CEO of The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs of Greensboro and CEO of the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain. Jamie's commitment to education spans over two decades, during which he has made significant contributions to student success across the Carolinas. In addition to his leadership at CIS of South Carolina, Jamie is a Maxwell Leadership Certified Team Member and founder of Maluhia Global Leadership, providing training, coaching, and consulting services to organizations worldwide. Jamie and his wife, Kristie, are proud parents of three children and eagerly await the arrival of their first grandchild.
