Professional Bio
Kelli Parker serves as WREN’s Director of Communications & Marketing, overseeing media and public relations strategies that advance our mission, policy agenda, and programs. With more than 20 years of experience, Kelli’s dedication to excellence has earned her significant recognition.
Her work was honored as a 2022 Pulitzer Prize finalist and she received both First Place and Second Place in Digital Storytelling from New York State Associated Press. A graduate of The University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism, Kelli’s previous experience includes time at the Denver Post, the Houston Chronicle, the New York Daily News, and The Wall Street Journal. Outside the office, Kelli finds joy in volunteering and exploring the world through travel. A native New Yorker, Kelli lives in the Lowcountry with her husband of 19 years, one fantastic child, and a very spoiled dog.
