Prior positions (partial list): Director of Development/ED Educational Foundation, Midlands Technical College (1997-2000); Founding CEO Communities in Schools Columbia (1987-1996); Senior Account Executive AT&T/Southern Bell (1981-1987); Founding President/CEO Madison House (at U of Virginia) (1972-1979); as well as Board member/Board Chair of numerous other organization in the Columbia area.
Significantly involved in launching City Year Columbia, Carolina Marathon Association, Adoption Center of South Carolina, Guardian ad Litem, Children’s Chance, Lake Wateree Association, Catawba Riverkeeper Foundation……………..
I could go on……….I’m 71.5 years old and still significantly involved in nonprofit work in Asheville (capital campaigns and Board service).
