Shelley Price

My name is Shelley Price and I am the current executive director of GRASP (Great Falls Referral & Assistance Service Project), a 501(c)3 nonprofit in Great Falls, South Carolina. I have been with GRASP since 2017 and worked diligently to increase and diversify our revenue in order to provide quality services to our neighbors in need. I also serve as a director for the Chester County Chamber of Commerce and I am a member of the steering committee for Great Falls Community Heart & Soul.
I am passionate about serving people in need who are struggling to make it through difficult situations and helping them navigate through obstacles when working to obtain needed resources. I am always looking to expand my skill set and use my experience to improve my community as a whole. I graduated from Winthrop University in 2008 with my Bachelor of Social Work and a Certificate in Gerontology. I received my social work license in the State of South Carolina in 2009. I later returned to Winthrop University and earned my Master of Social Work in 2016. While in school, I was the recipient of the Linda M. Ashley scholarship and the Chris Parker graduate student of the year award.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband and children, watching them play sports, and reading during rare moments of calm.
