Honoring Black History Month

Posted By: Trimease Carter For Good Connections,

February brings a meaningful opportunity for both recognition and reflection. It's Black History month - a time to honor and celebrate Black leaders in the nonprofit sector, both across our state and within our own communities.

This year, we are proud to highlight the Black Nonprofit Leaders Group Peer Network, the first Together SC peer network to be established. In 2025, we will celebrate five years of strengthening and supporting its members.

Over the years, the peer network has hosted the annual Spring Symposium and various initiatives, providing a dedicated space for Black nonprofit leaders to connect, collaborate, and thrive.

Take a moment to celebrate Black History Month in your own way, acknowledging the profound impact of Black leadership in the nonprofit sector.

We invite members of the Black Nonprofit Leaders Group to join us on February 25 for a pre-Summit 5 Year Celebration and Panel Discussion at United Way of the Midlands.
