Your Consultant Allies
'Wow, the energy at last week's Summit, with 750+ nonprofit, philanthropic, and community leaders and partners convening in North Charleston, blew me away.
On behalf of the dozens of Consultant Collaborative partners who presented, exhibited, sponsored, and simply enjoyed catching up, we thank you for the opportunity to convene with you.
We share your excitement for this community of leaders we are building.
As the peer network for Together SC's consultant members, we seek to live out the implication of our name: the Consultant Collaborative.
The 100+ members of this network are professional firms dedicated to serving SC's nonprofit community.
The Consultant Collaborative aims to help SC's nonprofit and philanthropic leaders connect with the resources they need, strengthen our individual businesses, coach one another, and ensure we are here for you as nonprofit leaders.
In fact, the Collaborative recently adopted a code of conduct for its members that articulates our pledge to philanthropy and community well-being in general.
You have many choices as to whom you engage as consultants and coaches. We hope Together SC's Consultant Collaborative Directory and its members will become a trusted, "go-to" resource. This searchable directory is a "work in progress." Please let us know what else would be helpful.
Additionally, the Together SC staff readily posts on our listserv inquiries from nonprofits seeking proposals or expert advice. This is an easy way for us to reach out and provide input as you desire.
Our members' desire to collaborate has already manifested itself. We are promoting each other’s work, teaming up on projects, joining forces to create greater access for you, and sharing expertise via regular Zoom calls so that we become the best consultants in our fields.
In the coming year, our Consultant Collaborative Leadership Team seeks to formally elevate the standards for our members through training and recognition for excellence. We will have more to share with you as we develop specifics. In short, we are considering a way to certify or credential consultants who rise to our highest standards of professionalism, excellence, and service to the sector.
Thank you for giving us our higher purpose.
We consider it a distinct honor to be your partner in driving your mission. And thank you for serving on the front lines to improve the quality of life for all South Carolinians.
Please let us know how we can serve you.
