Last year, during the 2023 SC Nonprofit Summit we made our sector’s presence known to the General Assembly, and the energy has kept us moving forward in our advocacy work.
We can’t lose that energy.
That’s why we’re back at the State House on April 24, and we need you there. Here’s what’s plan:

Then you will be paired with a Regional Captain’s to guide you though the State House and meet with your legislators

Next you will join our special listening session with the SC Department of Employment and Workforce. We’ve been working with DEW to lift up nonprofits’ role in workforce development - one of the state’s top priorities - and this is a chance for attendees to get to know their staff, their strategies, and how we can help.

Finally, join us for our now-annual Allies for Good Legislative Reception at Bourbon (Main Street, just one block from the State House). You’ll mingle with your peers and elected officials while advocating for the nonprofit sector.
